About My Firm

My name is attorney Amy Pietrowski. When I started my firm, Pietrowski Law Practice, it was the culmination of a lifetimeAmy Pietrowski of public service. I joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served my country during the Gulf War. After becoming a veteran, I served my country by becoming involved in the field of social work and a volunteer. I later worked with youth as a school teacher.

All of these experiences with service taught me the value of being a staunch advocate for those who needed it. I decided to attend law school and protect clients with high-quality, responsive legal representation. I focus on clients with criminal defense and divorce cases — two situations in which having a lawyer representing you who is truly on your side can make all the difference.

Clients and the legal community have recognized my approach to serving clients. I've been honored by the Lee County Bar Association, Judge Mask and Mississippi Supreme Court Justice William "Bill" L. Waller, Jr., for pro bono legal services provided to the local community. I was also nominated to be a speaker for Ole Miss TEDx 2018, and named 2017 Influential Woman by Mud & Magnolia magazine.

Mediation, as used in law, is a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), a way of resolving disputes between two or more parties with concrete effects. Typically, a third party, the mediator, assists the parties to negotiate a settlement. ... Mediation can be used to resolve disputes of any magnitude.
